Ordering a custom design is a straightforward process designed to bring your unique vision to life.

Step 1: Share Your Vision To get started, please send a detailed email to quilting@groovypatterns.com. In your message, clearly describe your custom design request. The more detail you provide, the better we can recreate your vision. It is helpful to include:

  • A clear description of your design, theme, or idea.

  • Specific details such as desired measurements, fonts for names, or specific elements you want to include.

  • Images that inspire your design, if possible.

Step 2: Review Our Terms of Use Before emailing your request, please take a moment to read our comprehensive Terms of Use on our website. By requesting a custom project, you agree to be bound by these terms. This helps ensure a clear understanding of the design process and expectations.

Step 3: Design & Timeline Once we have all the necessary details, we will begin creating your custom design. This process typically takes one week. Please note that the exact timing may vary depending on the complexity of your design and our current order volume, as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Step 4: Purchase Your Custom Design Once your custom design is complete, we will provide you with a dedicated listing or guide you through the purchase process for the custom design SKU.

Step 5: Production & Shipping All groovy boards are made to order; we do not keep pre-made stock.

  • Production Time: We estimate 3–5 business days to craft and prepare your order for shipping, depending on our current order volume.

  • Shipping Fees:

    • Orders of $99 or more qualify for free domestic shipping within the US.

    • A flat $5 shipping fee applies to US orders under $99.

    • For Canadian orders, there is a flat rate $50 fee.

  • Delivery: We typically ship via USPS, with delivery times ranging from 2 to 4 days.

  • Rush Orders: If you are working on a tight timeline, please contact us before placing your order to confirm current shipping times. We can often prioritize orders at no extra cost.
